Dutch Bros. Coffee gift card? AJ’s Fine Foods gift card? Starbucks gift card? With Christmas right around the corner, many students are struggling to find the perfect gift for their friends and family, yet the perfect gift does not always have to be the most expensive.

Here is a list of inexpensive Christmas gifts that most people will love:

  1. Personalized playlist or mixtape

Most people love music. This gift will be used very often, and whenever the recipient plays it, they will think of the person who made it for them!

  1. Coupon book

A coupon book may take time, but it will be worth it. The recipient can redeem the coupons whenever he or she desires. They can include making dinner, doing the laundry, or something as simple as a free hug. This gift idea is very creative, and the possibilities are endless.

  1. Socks and a blanket

As the weather gets colder, people need to bundle up and get cozy. Socks and blankets are always a safe choice for presents. They will be used so much, and they are super comfy!

  1. Candle

Candles are aromatic and look pretty.  To make it even more special, light the candle and put a note in the melted wax before giving it to someone. They will be able to see it every time the candle is burning.

  1. Decorate and stuff a mason jar

The possibilities are endless with this gift idea.  The jar can be decorated in any way and stuffed with anything, including candy, hot chocolate mix, socks, and other fun trinkets.

  1. Hot chocolate kit

Who doesn’t love to warm up to a cup of hot chocolate on a cold night?

  1. Baked homemade goods

Every baked good is made with love, and it tastes spectacular too! Most people have a sweet tooth at some point during the day, so it will not be wasted.

  1. Portable phone charger

This gift will surely be used because almost everyone’s phone dies at some point during the day.

  1. Aroma therapy

Aroma therapy uses plant materials and oils to help people relax and relieve stress. This can come in handy immediately after high school students endured the stress of finals week.
