With a winning record, the Lady Saints Girls’ Basketball team is “counting on making playoffs for the sixth year in a row.”

NDP Girls’ Varsity Basketball team began its 2015-2016 season on Dec. 2 versus Seton Catholic with a loss but still left Coach Andy Kiltz with “high hopes for the upcoming season.”

Coach Kiltz said, “We played very well against a difficult team who has been ranked No. 1for mul tiple years.”

With six seniors on the team, including Denver University commit Lauren Loven, who averages 26-28 points a game, Coach Kiltz is “excited to see what is in store for this team.”

He said, “The next couple of games are critical for making the playoffs this year. We had a rough start to the 2016 year losing to Sabino, but our win against Saint Mary’s shows that we can make playoffs again.”
