NDP Sophomores grow closer to God
NDP sophomores enjoy retreat
November 7, 2017
Eager to reflect in a quiet, serene setting, 19 members of the sophomore class of Notre Dame Preparatory left on October 31 for an overnight retreat at Lake Pleasant. The students departed NDP at 2:00 p.m. and arrived at their location around 3:15 p.m. While there, the students meditated and reflected on their lives, alongside several teachers who teach sophomores.
The trip was designed to give students a peaceful space to spend time with God. Essentially, the trip was Kairos for sophomores.
“I’m glad we had this opportunity to grow closer to a God,” said sophomore Katherine Douglas. “It was really nice to grow closer together to each other.”
The members of the class of 2020 returned to NDP the following Wednesday at 3:45 p.m.
